The Jr./High School Band under the direction of Joe Denham, III received a Division II rating at the 2009 American Classic Festival held at the Corpus Christie Texas A&M University.....Contratulations to the Yellow Jacket 2009 Band!!

The band is under the direction of Joe Greer Denham,III. Mr. Denham is a former member of the Goin Band From Raiderland, and former graduate assistant for the University of Wyoming Western Thunder Marching Band.

2009 BAND CALENDAR

Runge Yellow Jacket Band Itinerary
Saturday, October 24, 2009
Area E Marching Band Contest


10:30 AM Meet at band hall and run show twice

11:30 AM Load Truck and Buses
a. 12th, 11th and 10th on Bus I
b. 9th, 8th, and 7th on Bus II

12:00 PM Leave for San Antonio, Texas

1:30 PM Arrive Dave and Buster’s Restaurant

3:30 PM Leave for East Central Stadium

4:30 PM Arrive at East Central Stadium
a. change into band uniform
b. unload truck

5:45 PM Move to warm-up area

6:30 PM Take field and play and march our heart out

7:00 PM Change into purple shorts and purple shirt

7:30 PM Leave for Runge
a. Please be advised if we advance to State we will leave for Runge at 11:00 PM. We would need to stay for ratings.
b. Stop in Florseville at Whataburger.

9:00 PM Arrive at Runge
a. unload truck
